is an online service that has been designed, founded, and is managed, by seasoned
entertainment professionals to make it easier and more efficient for talented
people to access entertainment industry decision-makers, and for decision-makers
to efficiently find the talent that matches their search criteria. Initially,
Audition For Hollywood's focus is to provide a "value added" service
for actors, models, writers, musicians/singers, and pageant participants interested
in being "seen, heard, and discovered" by entertainment decision-makers,
and to provide the latter an efficient tool by which to find the talent they seek,
in these talent categories. Eventually, it is our goal to broaden the service

Q. How does Audition For Hollywood work and what will I get
from my membership?
A. Audition For Hollywood matches the entertainment industry decision-maker's search criteria with your personal characteristics, talents and skills. It also affords the decision-maker the opportunity to view you and your talent up close and personal. For example, if you are an ACTOR, you can post your photos (up to 10 of them) and your promo/audition reel . If you are a MUSICIAN you can post 3 of your songs ( and change them whenever you want ) and your music video-- it's as if you were actually auditioning before someone who has already indicated an interest in you, regardless of where you live, or what day or time of the day it is.
Audition For Hollywood is available to decision-makers in all segments of the entertainment industry for free 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We intentionally decided NOT to charge decision-makers a fee to utilize the service for a simple reason: We wanted to eliminate any reason for them, or their staff, not to use the service. By making this invaluable tool available to them for free, and because we are the only site that can claim it has an impressive Industry Advisory Board of decision-makers that is committed to using the service as one of their primary search tools, we are rapidly becoming the primary search engine in the entertainment industry.

Q. How much does the service cost?
A. If you are an actor, musician, dancer, model, writer, or one of the many other talented persons for whom the service was designed, you will receive the service for FREE for the first 2 months; thereafter, and ONLY if you want to remain a subscriber, you will pay $12.95 per month. That's less than the cost of a cup of coffee per day, and you can cancel at anytime if you are not sastisfied. Q. If I don't have the money now, can I upload now and activate
my account when I am able to pay in full?
A. No, but you can have a friend, relative
or third party pay on your behalf so you don't have to wait. Make a subscription

Q. How will I know if my profile has been looked at, or if
someone is interested in contacting me?
A. Anyone interested in contacting you
will do so by email to you directly or through your agent/manager as your contact.
The system will collect information about industry execs looking at your profile
and make reports available to you online. Your contact information is very important
and must be accurately entered into the system. If you are represented, you should
enter your agent or manager's email or phone number. If you are not represented

Q. How do I create an audition reel?
A. If you have scenes
from work you have done, you can edit any scenes into a (3) minute reel and submit
it online. If you do not have (3) minutes you can submit any length or you can
contact a local videographer or still photographer who owns the digital equipment
required to assist you in producing additional material. Your audition can be
shot by anyone; however, we recommend that you read our Audition Tips or contact
your agent, manager or coach to carefully plan your audition reel. Remember, your
(3) minutes may be the only sample of your work that a casting director, talent
agent or producer will see in making a judgment about your suitability for a particular
opportunity. You want it to be professional and competitive. The technical requirements

Q. Are there other benefits available for members?
A. Yes.
We are also adding benefits and services on a regular basis. Check out our Member
Services and Benefits link on the site. You will find a growing number of services
being made available to all of our members. We are also forming links with film
commissions, festivals and seminars. You will also be able to send postcards,
headshots and information from your profile page to agents, managers and industry
contacts. New services and benefits will be posted on the home page. Check them

Q. Who can join?
A. It is our goal to attract the two sides
of the "equation": Those of you who are part of the Talent universe
and wish to have your talent recognized, and those of you who are part of the
Industry universe of decision-makers. On the talent side, anyone with a dream:
Actors, Dancers, Musicians, Singers, Models, Pageant Contestants, Writers ...
you get the picture… can subscribe to Audition For Hollywood for pennies
a day. On the Industry side, any professional searching for talent can sign up
for free, and after being approved by Audition For Hollywood, can access any talent

Q. How do you determine that someone is a professional in
the industry versus someone from the general pubic who is just looking at a talent
profile for non-professional reasons?
A. We exercise our best efforts to confirm
that anyone applying for a user name and password is a member of the appropriate
union, listed in one of the many professional guides and is legitimately working
on a viable project. We go out of our way to verify that an interested industry
person is, in fact, actively involved in the Industry. Because the entertainment
industry is a relatively small industry, we will also make every effort to have
an applicant we may not know first-hand be recommended or verified by someone

Q. What if a person is new to the business and not a member
of any union or professional organization, like a first time film producer or
casting director?
A. We will not grant access to anyone without the proper credentials,
unless they are willing to work under the guidance of one of our authorized industry
professionals, or an authorized industry professional is willing to sponsor them.

Q. Do I need to have a credit card to join?
A. We have the
ability to accept various credit cards, or you may pay with an electronic check.

Q. Do I need to sign a talent or artist contract and do you
get any first rights on representing me if I get cast or hired through Audition
For Hollywood?
A. No. We are not a casting company, employer, talent agent or
management company. All income you may receive as a result of your membership
in Audition For Hollywood is yours. If you have an agent or manager, you will
be solely responsible for paying any fees to them based on your contract with

Q. Do you receive any ownership of my materials?
A. No. By
accepting our "Terms of Use" you are granting us the use of your materials,
if we desire, solely for our advertising, marketing and promotion efforts. We

Q. Who built Audition For Hollywood?
A. The website has been
designed through a collaborative effort between recognized graphic designers and
experienced programmers. The application system (the "engine" that drives
the service) was developed by a group of experts who began creating and modifying
our particular Application System 7 years ago. The combined technical and management
experience have created a community tailored to meet the needs of aspiring talent
and the requirements of the entertainment industry using the system.back
